Graeme Martin

Graham Martin is a Christchurch Freemason whose Masonic journey began in 1991, inspired by the example of his father and grandfather. Over more than three decades in the Craft, he has served four times as Worshipful Master, as a Past Grand Lecturer, and as a senior member of the Royal Arch. His professional life also included teaching business ethics—an interest reflected in his approach to Freemasonry as a lifelong exercise in responsibility, fidelity, self-examination and service to others.

Graham is particularly passionate about helping Masons look beyond memorised ritual to discover its meaning, symbolism and practical lessons. At the heart of his philosophy is a simple challenge: live well enough that, when the time comes, you might “die regretted”—remembered with genuine affection and respect.
