Clive Fletcher
Clive Fletcher is a Royal Navy veteran, marine engineer and long-serving Freemason whose story spans both England and New Zealand. Initiated into his father’s lodge in 1985, Clive found in Freemasonry the same sense of camaraderie, responsibility and mutual support that had shaped his years of naval service, including his experience during the Falklands War.
After moving to Christchurch in 2004, he joined Avon Lodge, later Avon Shirley Lodge No. 185, where he has served three terms as Worshipful Master. Clive is known for his practical, community-focused approach to Freemasonry, supporting initiatives involving cancer accommodation, prostate cancer awareness, the Christchurch City Mission and the memorable South Island potato-growing challenge.
